• The UK Premier One Loft Race Rules 2025

    1. The race is named The UK Premier One Loft Race.

    2. The managing director / loft manager is Jeremy Davies.

    Loft assistants will be employed when needed.

    3. The entry fee for 2025 is £155 for every entry. We encourage you to join and make syndicates.

    4. A £20 deposit per pigeon to secure your space when booking. All deposits are non- refundable. The deposit will be taken of the final payment.

    5. Full payment must be made prior to the pigeons arriving at the loft by bank transfer or cash. Those two payments are the only forms of payments accepted. Bank Details are [ The UK Premier One Loft Race] [ Sort Code 04-06-05 ] [ Account No 20008824 ]

    6. All pigeons must be rung only with one 2025 life ring, they can be rung on either leg. The Benzing electronic ring will be placed on arrival at the loft on the other leg.

    7. All the relevant details of the electronic ring and registration ring will be entered onto Benzing Live database.

    8. The loft will be open for the acceptance and delivery of youngsters between the 19th of February 2025 to the 10th of April 2025. All deliveries must be pre-arranged with loft manager Jeremy Davies.

    9. All youngsters are to be aged over 35 days old when they are delivered to the loft. A pedigree must be supplied with the pigeons. Any pigeons reported as strays will be repatriated and returned to the loft.

    10. All pigeons MUST be inoculated by their owners with a defra approved vaccine against Paramyxovirus at least 12 days before arrival at the loft. The vaccine batch number must be written on the entry form that is to be delivered with the birds.

    11. No entries from the Managing director, Loft manager or loft assistants will be accepted.

    12. Replacements for any fatalities or losses will be accepted until the 20th of April 2025. The entrant will be notified if this is the case that spare birds can be sent.  Venture pigeons bred from outside sources will be available to be on sale for anybody to the enter the race.

    13. Venture pigeons acquired from outside sources for the 2025 race, will be sold at a fee of £200 each and will be fully activated to race. The buyer will also receive 50% of the auction price which is to be held after the final race.

    14. CCTV and security systems are in operation.

    15. The Benzing system will be installed and in operation.

    16. All youngsters will carry the loft manager’s telephone number on the Benzing ring.

    17. The route for 2025 One Loft Race will be North and final race point will be Arbroath in Scotland – 315 miles (subject to lib point availability). Hot Spots will be roughly the same distances as used in 2024. 70 miles, 116 miles, 167 miles, 212 miles, Final 315 miles.

    18. As an addition to the Grand Final One Loft Race, there will be a possibility to race with the NRCC race from Dunbar, subject to circumstances and conditions at the tie after the Grand Final Race. If the additional final race goes ahead the top 30 prize winners from the Grand Final Race will be removed to go to auction along with the top 3 Ace pigeons and the Golden Breeder award pigeons.                                          

    19. Liberation sites and distances for all races will be confirmed prior to each race.

    20. All the training tosses and all races will depend on the weather conditions. The managing director will have the final decision for the liberation of the pigeons in his care.

    21. The Final race dates will be announced.

    22. The UK Premier One Loft Race will be paying out prize money based on entries. 3 Ace pigeon prizes which will be flown over 5 races with an average speed velocity to the winners.

    ·       10 prizes will be paid out in each Hot spot 1, 2 and 3,

    ·       15 prizes will be paid out in the Semi-final race,

    ·       50 prizes will be paid out in the Final race,

    ·       3 prizes for ace pigeon,

    ·       Pools will be paid out 10:1.

    All prizes will be subject to the final number of birds at the time of the closing of entries and venture pigeons sold. Prizes will be published prior to the hot spot 1.

    23. All prize money will be secured in a business account and paid out within 2 weeks after each race. However, it was paid out quicker in 2024.

    24. There will be three “Ace pigeon prizes” for the pigeons with the best average velocity over 5 races (3 hot Spots Semifinal and final). The winners will be the pigeons with the highest average velocity. In the event of a tie, the winning pigeons will be the highest position in the final race.

    25. Any pigeons timed in at a dead heat will share cash prizes by adding the total of the place prizes, divided by the number of pigeons in the dead heat.

    26. After the final race pigeons will be auctioned and the owner will receive 50 % of the auction price. The other 50 % will go to The UK Premier One Loft Race. All Formative pedigrees need to be received before the semi-finial. If NO Formative pedigree is received, then NO auction money will be paid to the entrant.

    The UK Premier One Loft Race will cover administration costs and auction fees.

    27.  We use your personal information submitted through the results and race reports. We may pass on your personal information to a verified third party for the purpose of administrating the races and the publicity of pigeon racing. By submitting pedigrees to us, you consent to publish any personal information on the pedigrees on the auction site. We will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to provide the relevant services to you, maintain business records to satisfy tax, legal and other regulatory requirements, and protect and defend against potential legal claims.

    28. The final race marking as well as the final race liberation will be live streamed. All Hot Spot Liberations and Semi Final will be live streamed.

    The trapping area will be live streamed on return of the pigeons on all races where possible.

    29. Any disputes that could arise will be resolved by the Managing Director Jeremy Davies and his decision will be final.
